HCS2407-035 – 3M Filling Compound EC 3524 (1/2 gal)
The 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Void Filling and Edge Sealing Compound EC-3524 B/A is a two-part flame retardant epoxy. The EC-3524 B/A Compound can be used for void filling, edge sealing, and as an abradable compound in aircraft engines. It can also be used to reinforce honeycomb or bonding inserts.

Features Include:
- Sandable within 3 hours of mixing
- Cures to a strong, low-density material within 48 hours at 75°F (24°C)
- Meets the flammability requirements of F.A.R. 25.853 (a) and (b)
- Thixotropic properties for ease of application
- Can be used a s a fairing compound for aerodynamics flushness
- Reinforces honeycomb
- Used for bonding inserts
- 100% solids
- Service Temperature at 250°F (121°C)
